Common Man Coffee Roasters @ Martin Road

Weekdays are the best time to visit a cafe as cafes are usually packed during weekends.

Brewed from a partnership between Harry Grover of 40 Hands, Australia's Five Senses Coffee, and the Spa Esprit Group, Common Man Coffee Roasters(CMCR) is the convergence of a bubbling bank of experience from the coffee cherry to the cup, encompassing a café, coffee bar, and wholesale roasting arm.

CMCR is probably the nearest cafe you can find in Singapore that resembles the ones in Melbourne.

I've decided to order the Organic Eggs Benedict. Most cafes serve the brunch must-have dish with bacon and sausage. CMCR's rendition is served with Ox Cheek on Sourdough.

Organic Eggs Benedict ($24)

Their braised ox cheek was tender. The poached eggs tasted heavenly. They were generous with the hollandaise and wild rockets. Thumbs up!

Cappuccino ($5)

CMCR's immaculate latte art is to be praised. The cup of cappuccino was aromatic and smooth. No complaints both visually and taste.

CMCR is definitely a cafe that I'll visit again.
