Many people may have already known Strangers' Reunion. Barista Ryan Kieran Tan opened a new venture at Prinsep Street in 2015 - Curious Palette.
I visited the cafe for the Save a Stranger Tuesday. Curious palette was opened for business five Tuesdays from 12 noon to 9pm. All staff working on Tuesdays will be volunteering their time and all proceeds from Tuesdays' sales will go to a fund to support Sebastian - the head chef of Strangers' Reunion through his cancer treatments.
The soft shell crab burger comes with wasabi slaw, homemade aioli, roasted butternut squash, salted egg togarashi, chili oil and petit salad. The hint of wasabi is a perfect combination with the coleslaw and crispy soft shell crab.
For sides, we opted for stuffed nachos. The gooey cheese ooze out from every bite. If you are a fan of cheese, this is a must try!
The star of Curious Palette is Berry Ricotta Pancakes.
The dessert looks like a garden of berries, sunflower seeds and vanilla ice-cream. The pancake is spongy on the inside, crispy on the outside. And of course, maple syrup enhance this masterpiece.
Curious Palette offers one of the best cafe food.
I'll definitely come back again for more.
