[Singapore] Chye Seng Huat Hardware Review

Chye Seng Huat Hardware is a café located at the vicinity of Jalan Besar.  This café is famous as they retain the exterior of a hardware store.

According to many reviews, Chye Seng Huat serves excellent coffee. 

I tried the Flat White and it seems that it doesn't really stands out from the many coffee I tried. Nonetheless still a good cup of coffee. 

Chye Seng Huat's food menu is minimal. With Western and Japanese choices. 

I tried the Beef Short Rib Donburi, which consists of sea-salt beef short ribs served warm on Japanese rice with pickled radish, avocado, and sous vide egg. 

The donburi is simple. In my opinion, it will certainly be better if there were more ikura. 

Overall, Chye Seng Huat is a good place to just chill out with your friends, or even be alone enjoying your cuppa (provided it's not too busy). Food wise, it's not too impressive.
